Well my Mikado has his eye sewn shut as of yesterday. He doesn't think that we should have other male dogs. Right now we have an 8mon old yellow lab/border collie Reed ( he is neutered and started on obedience and retrieving) and Mikado hates him. Mikado got off his collar and bit at Reed and Reed bit back and nicked the cornea on Mikados right eye it started to rupertor so the vet sowed it shut in hopes of saving his eye. He is being real good about the stitches and I can put the ointment in just fine. Please everyone send up good thought for my boy.

Thanks Jess I have put Mikado in TIME OUT so many times but he really does dislikes whimpy crybaby dogs and Reed is one of those dogs. I hope that we can find Reed a forever home real soon.

Mikado's eye has no discharge coming from it and he sits so nice while I put the ointment in it. Only 11 more days and I will find out if he will loose his eye.

Mikado says thank you for the hugs and kisses. He likes those.

I'm very happy to report that my Mikado's eye is ALL healed a little scaring but not much. He looks so good.
