What do you do in the cold?

I was wondering what everyone does with their dogs when it is really cold out or raining or HOT! Woke up this morning to -25 and that isn't the wind chill. YIKES!!! So we are basically indoors today. I wish I would have bought the pip squeeks some toys to chew up. I have raw hides for when they go into their kennels as we rotate but I was wondering what you guys do with your furkids on days like this.

I wouldnt know what to do in -25 degree weather NEVER been in it.

I would stay inside too

I love the cold weather but -25 is a little more than I'm used to. We'd be inside too. But if it gets above 90 we are staying in too. Don't like the hot weather at all!

If it's really cold, really hot, or raining, my big butt is on the couch!!

Well, in the summer I'm @ the lake a lot, so if it's really hot and I'm not on the couch I'm @ the lake.

We braved the outdoors we had to take care of the outside animals. It really wasn't that bad once the wind stopped. Chalice, DaVinci and Mikado had a blast running around outside. They played on the haybales while we tried to pull hay off for the horses. I did buy a bunch of blankets to put on the floor tonight as they say it will be a-27 tonight. The baby goat is doing fine she came out in the sun today and was looking so cute.

-25 count us in. 0 or above with no wind we're out. just for a shorter time. we're in the rain as long as its not real cold or storming. hot days are for the creek and the big maple shade tree that seems to always catch a breeze in the summer.

Now, that's a good time. A couple of years ago we lived on a farm inside a National Forest. The creeks were all crystal clear and we spent a lot of days there just swimming and fishing.

That sounds blissfull. I like to be in a seclude area just me and my son and my dogs. I love days spent like that.
