| See that is cool, but what i gotta ask is, What do you get when you have a dog that is sumissive with people, but hates other dogs that he dont live with?? Harley is great with people and will submit to me and the memebers of my family, He dont listen to people that are guests... But when it comes to other dogs of the same sex... Its not a good combo at all!! Now is that a bad thing?? | |

Yeah males from my experience dont take to males. Legend's fine around them which is strange to me! lol. But I've had a problem with him and one or two neutered male dogs! WTF?! lol. He wanted nothing to do with them at all! So I'm thinking Pantera would be a 2-3 and Harley would be a 3-3.5 maybe a 4.

| I'd have to say Hemi is a 3. He always wants to play when meeting new dogs/pups but if the other dog snaps ...... he flips out! | |

| Do any of you breed? Do you temperment test? I temperment tested my litters of 06 and it was interesting. Just asking since this thread was designed around a temperment article. I also did stimulation it was all pretty cool. Only thing is when you temperment test you have to have an outsider do it because the pups will respond to you in a different way since they are used to you. |

It has good tips on safety too!!!! Well, I gotta list here so I'll just start from the top and work my way down. Angel I would say is #2. She's also 5, and I haven't had her very long, but what I have seen she hasn't shown any signs of dog aggression. The previous owner said that she wouldn't hesitate to put a dog in its place but not attack so ..I'd say she is NOT dog aggressive but may have the capability. Savanna- Is a number 3, she won't do anything unless provoked, always quick to make friends with another dog, but yet, WILL indeed cover her butt if needed. If she is intimidated she won't back off and submit. Zoe- I would say is a #5......she can't be put with other dogs, she'll tolerate the ones on the yard, except Savanna, not great with pups, scared of them. BUT she can be called off so I wouldn't say she is a super aggressive dog. If I say NO or STOP she calms down easily. I'll let ya know more when the 2 male pups get a little older

Yep I breed and temperment test as you know. I wouldn't place a dog with someone that doesn't have the skills or experience to handle my dogs period. Post some links up where we can find more about temperment testing puppies christie, I wouldn't mind doing some more research myself.
