ONE of my earlier projects. My 72 Nova with all its new parts. I later sold it and about 4 months later the guy brought it back looking SWEET. He only dropped $30,000 in it but it was HOT!!!

This is the good ol boy version.

One of my old friends that killed hisself had one IDENTICAL to that one. He built it too. same year cept he went with flate grey, they flat gold! It was so ugly but ill be darned if that thing didnt bark 3rd

Umm one suggestion, Since they are dual voice coil and have a high excursion you should at least have 2.3 cubic feet of air space, a piece, prefebly with there own air space. I would go with ported too. The ports and the right amount of air lets the speaker Move more air. Moving more air means more THUMP. SPL BABY! THats what drives us! Sound. pressure. level. my truck is hittin 163db. Human hearing goes out at about 130db soooooo....... But its gettin the bed sealed right now. I dont think you can order those speakers of yours anymore. Youve definately know your stuff Turn it up!

Yeah I know... one problem though, there is absolutely no more room under the seat. The magnet is only 1/16 away from the inside of the box.
I made those boxes as small as possible and still barely fit under the seat.
I might have to put them in the Cobalt for the girl friend and make a separated bandpass box. What are you sportin in that???

Im into the audio thing, been done with the noise for a while. Got certified as an Audio Tech.
And on one last note for all yall who are hip i got my subs ran down to .5 ohm!!! OH yeah you feel the power!

Whats a class D amp??? And how in the world do you keep the highs from blowing with 1000 watts???? How many watts are them subs and polks??

Definitely put a visor on it and paint it black with red pin striping or a 2ft stripe down the sides....High rise intake and a 750 double pumper, headers and a 4 inch exhaust.. at least that's what I did with mine...

Subs may be a problem, there aint much room behind the seat is there???
There are custom boxes though, I have seen them for ford rangers...

What brand of suspension springs should i use. I've got a magazine in my locker at work and was looking at a few, but would like to get some more input on them.

The only one tat comes to mind is Skyjakker but I'm not sure if they have a 3 inch though...

Class D means strictly a sub amp. Class D amps have no mosfet protection either. If You wire them too low or lope side them and they burn up say bye. The concept is a 4 channel with two sets of components. 250 watt RMS each-polk 800 watt RMS each-Audiobahn high e. subs

Mono means one, meaning one channel out put

is it 2 or 4 wd? you only have to raise the front , that will make it level w/ 3 inches. affordable and no major steering component changes. maybe a pre run bumper w/some kc daylighters. I gotta find some pics of my 67 firebird convertable, my 1st project.
