| Subject: Kennel info  Sat Dec 16, 2006 1:11 am | |
| I was just wondering when you all that have kennels, started your kennel did you have to fill out a paper to get your registered Kennel name? If so did you get that off of the adba site and did it cost either 250 or 500 I cant remember. |

To register your name with adba it is 250 but it cost less then that to register as a business name with your state. I know here it's 50 bucks. |

| hmmm it must have changed, ADBA was 200, NKC is 20 a year. I don't know about state cuz we don't need one here. | |

It may be 200 it is either 200 or 250 can't remember but I haven't done adba it isn't important becasue UKC does it for free. That is the one thing i don't like about ADBA! So all my dogs are in my last name or just their name with them instead of RED SKY but it doesn't matter most folks get my pups are showing ukc anyways, I just continue to support adba because of how well they do for us in regards to bsl. |

| You can get them CKC (continental kennel club) registered. It takes 2 witness signatures and 3 pics. You can go to their web site for more info.

| no problem Glad to help! Not sure what other registries will except an unpapered dog. But I know AKC and UKC won't. I'm not familiar with the process of ADBA or NKC or the others that are out there. I have only delt with CKC and UKC. | |

| Well in order to get a dog registered with UKC you must have papers from an approved registry and have 3 generation pedigree. Other than that you can get temperary # with UKC so you can enter shows, but the dog must be altered. You can read more at: http://www.ukcdogs.com/Registration.htm | |
