Yea i talk to them and generally people think i'm talking to my kids lol. You should hear me when we are in the ring especially if I'm showing one of my pups. Most often the judge will tell you to talk to them and if you don't and aren't you won't get placed. I treat my dogs just like they are kids when they have been bad they get a very long talking to but then I do that anyways (while they are having pups I sit there and talk and rub and love on em to death, if on is sick i hold em and talk to them the entire time). You can't build a bond without communication! |

Yep they respond most times by a bark or something. Sierra uses her eyes and body alot to let me know she understands. When she knows someone is sad she puts her nose on their nose and when she thinks your mad she just comes and lays at your feet like don't be mad or she thinks it's her fault that you are. She can't stand for the puppies to get in trouble so she comes and stands right next to me when ever I am yelling at them or spanking them like she is telling me okay thats enough ma they know now lol. I was so fortunate to get this girl but I gotta tell there have been times that I really wanted to give her back but it is mostly cause of the lady i co-own her with! It took her some months to get used to me though and sometimes she is still kind of worried about my intentions lol. I've only had Sierra since like march or april. |

| I have always talked to my animals. They understand alot. Chalice gets soooo happy when you sing to her it is alot of fun. I don't think I'm crazy for talking to them. My dog Montag uderstood everything I told him even when I would be back from college. He was amazing. Mikado knows alot too like I tell him I get done working at 9:00 he starts to act up at 9:30 I'll be home by 9:45 so he can tell time. | |

| Oh yeah , I definitely talk to mine and some of them understand more than the others but if you watch you can tell that they know you are talking to them. I know Carman is in the house and we have had her since she was 6 weeks old and now she is about 7 years and you can hold a conversation with and you just know that she understands what you are telling her just by the way she acts. Here is a picture of her: | |

Man she sure doesn't look seven! Have you shown her? Your Circle K kennels right? Love that puppy in your display pic to. Yeah I am Circle K Kennels, She is an exceptional girl. Although she was retired last year from any breedings. We had her fixed. Her average litter of puppies was about 12 and after the 3rd time enough was enough. The last breeding we had with her was an unexpected breeding and the male that got her was a good boy up to this date. The puppy in my display is Topaz and is about 3/4 R.E. and1/4 wachdog if I am not mistaken. But I am still waiting for the pedigree to come to make sure. Right now she is about 5 months old and a lot bigger than this picture. | |

| I talk to Brittle like she's a person. Sometimes she gives me looks as if to answer! One day I asked her if she wanted to get up with me and go out in the 30º weather. She picked her head up blinked, and then waddled over to my pillow and turned over and went right back to sleep. I guess people who really love their dogs talk to them because they are like their kids yunno? | |
