deer

i went to my greanddads house today he has about 5 acres with some woods. as soon as i pull up to his house i see 3 does rico notices them and stares directly at one of them. i get out of my cra, let him out then say go get em!! he took off like a bat out of heck at the one deer he was staring at. he caught up to the deer in about 35 seconds and lunged at it. the sly deer did a lil zig zag and escaped. i called rico back and we went inside. I am so proud. thats like my son geetting his first 6 point lol

man hes only 8 months!!! thats my boy. only downfall was after we went back outside he picked up the scent ... staright to a pile of deer poop and rolled around lol

man i had to call the vet and make sure it was cool that i gave him a complete bath since hes doing the whole dip for mage thing. they were like he roolled in what??? i told them the story and they just laughed.

Is Rico clearing up?

yeah he seems to be doing really well. every time he gets a dip he dosent act right for about three days but thats to be expected. his coat looks much better along with his eye. he goes in for his final (hopefully) dip this friday. the only problem hes having now is eating, little bastard wont chew his chicken he wants to eat it whole.
