| I think spiked collars are good lookin but if your dog sleeps in the same bed with you those spikes aint flyin too long then. I had a couple collars like that and id go to kick the dog out the bed and "oooouch, Darn collar!!"
Pressures ears would be considered a fault right? arent they "flat" i think?

I'm glad they aren't a fault. I've always said if i ever get a show pup with those kind of ears, I wouln't crop them. I love those kind of ears!

| I love both of my guys natural ears but form the pictures Kiomi posted they are acceptable too but I don't show. I wanted to get Mikado one of those spiked collars but didn't because I do have shelter dogs here at times and if they got in a fight that would hurt my hand. I don't like pain. I'm looking for a bigger johndeer tractor coller the pet store has 1" collars in but I want a 2" one. | |

| They are a lot easier on the dogs neck and are harder for them to slip out of. They are also a more 'heavy duty' collar for dog on a chain set-up. | |

| Not thicker, wider. It's just that the wider ones are more proportionate to a larger dog as to not have a big dog with a little collar. That's my take on it anyway...And what midwest said too, they cant slip out of it...
