Hey guys, I have a question about playing and not playing...
How do you know when a dog is really just playing, Or if the dog is being agressive?? I think i have an idea, But im not really that sure... If ya can let me know, I would be gratefull... flower

Body language is different if the dogs are playing and when they are serious.

Any time the hair is standing up and ears are on point (if they are natural) and the tail is set in challenge mood which kind of looks like a gay tail they are not playing. Growling, showing teeth none of that is playing.

Oh ok... I was playing with Dory and she looked alittle odd to me... She was doing the bowwow thing, But her eyes were wide and she was barking at me... I started getting her in the muzzle, like tapping at her and she was biting hard... Harley usually mouths at me, But not bites... PS whats a gay tail??? sunny

Legend holds his tail like that sometimes and so does Gemyni sometimes. Well when they are playing. Otherwise its down.

A gay tail is a fault and your dog won't win in the ring with one lol. It's okay for them to be like that when playing but not when in a stand still stack the tail should fall strait down, not in a cower though were the tail is all in the butt crack.

Well, Rocky and Zues are always going at it and their tails are almost always either straight out or down. Their ears are pinned back though.
I call it flight mode Wink The way I look at it is aslong as there is no crying,wimper,extreme growling,blood,stalking or all out battle their fine, giving I can stand it... bom

Yes, he does need more free time, hopefully he will get his new job soon and be back on normal hours. Right now he works third shift. All he has time for is work and sleep. LOL Can you send me that pic Christie?
