How did everyone think of thier dogs names?
When you looked at them did thier name just come to you or did something they do, or look like make you name them that?

with me......

Chato: Well Chato in spanish means short nose.. and I remember when he was little I used to laugh and say that it looked like he wreked into the wall..lol so I named him Chaot..even though now Chico would have been more suited for that name..lol

Tequilla...um hum..enough said.. No really when I first got her she used to run so fast that her legs could not keep up with her and she would fall over so I started saying she looked like a drunk..so i named her Tequilla..

Pequena.. In spanish That means little girl.. she was always small framed, so that just seemed to suit her perfect....

Chico... Well in spanish that just means boy.. But ever since I seen the movie Friday I liked that name and so I named him that...

Chapparra......Well in spanish this means Short girl... and that pretty much explains that she just looked really short when I got her...

Brittle came with hers. When we got her from our neighbours she knew the name well. her sisters name was Peanut so.. yeah it makes sence now!

Well, Zues was a name that I have always wanted to use, but never had a pup that looked like a Zues, He did... Did that make sense???

Rocky got his name cause when I got him he had Kennel Cough that quickly turned into Pneumonia and I almost lost the little guy. So I always saying to myself that his future looked Rocky. After a vet visit, almost eight hundred dollars, and 3 weeks of recovery he came out swingin..

Well Hemi got his name because I knew i was going to do w/p with him, so i needed to thing of something that is strong and can pull heavy loads ..... a hemi engine

That how he got his name "That Boys Gotta Hemi"

Rebel is Falins Blue Rebel Spirt out of Browns BLUE Baby and White Dream SPIRIT. I liked Rebel so we combined the parents name and vuallah!

Bailey..........just like it...............Blevins Blue Bailey

Switch.....................he is always ON!! so they name just stuck! OFK's FLIP THE SWITCH.

Gracie............she camed named but her registered name is Connellys RINKY DINK...............she was the runt!

Brandy---- cuz she's red the color of brandy wine

Mya---- Kids named her from the Mya in "Eight Below" ( they want eight dogs so they can name them each of the dogs off the movie) lol

Deke---- Hubby named him, no clue where he got it LOL

Clyde Aka Moose---- from Bonnie and Clyde (him and his other sis came trotting into the kitchen side by side I said "Look it's Bonnie and Clyde" Well Clyde stuck LOL He was then nicknamed Moose cuz he was so tall and lanky and doopey looking LOl Heres a pic of Moose at 8 weeks.....

He looks much better now, filled out awesome!!! But he's still a big ol OX so Moose has stuck and always will!!!

Well now we gots a new puppy... when i first seen him I immediately thought "Diesel", but then i was like... to common. But then i thought OOOHH!!! DEACON! yeah thats a good one! it acually seemed to "fit" better.

Well here goes..lol

Chopper-I have a thing for the Orange County Choppers, and when we went to pick him up, the orignal owner had a bike that looked like a chopper, I got to take a ride on it while holding him and thats how chopper got his name!

Bones-Milk bones, he couldnt stop eating them, would sit in front of the refrigerator and stare up at them....So that's how Bones got his name.

Medusa-I like mythology and was actually reading about Medusa when hubby walked in with her...lol

Babu- I have no clue, we didnt name him. We got him from a guy in chicago but gave him the nickname FUBU....lol But of course when you say it, it has to be baby talk...lol!

Zoe & Vanna I didn't name...They were adults when I got them and already had been named.

Taz is Johnson's Blu Tazmanian Devil - When he was a pup he had alot drive and just acted really crazy all the time. lol So we picked out Taz.

Chance- Johnson's Blu Psychosis- Jer came up with it, thought it was a bad ass name and it stuck. Chance is one of 2 survivors in this litter, and I changed it from Psychosis to Chance because he was our last chance at a pup from our litter.

Cynder- R. Craig's Cynder Block - He's a blocky lil thing, and is built well so I'm assuming that's where he got it. We liked Cynder so its going to stick


We haven't decided yet on the girl we'll be getting from eddie, but I might take a poll here when we get her. We're thinking Karma or Wicca. We shall see.

Ok Sierra was already named, her breeder named her because she reminded her of the desert and since she throw sierra in there she figured sierra mist (like the pop), this is what she told me lol.

Chaka was also already named (chaka khan cause she liked her, the singer) she also thought she was rather fiesty like her.

Kikie (goddess of passion, most my dogs are named after gods or drinks!)

Midas cause he's my gold touch gonna make things happen for me, i have great plans for him!

i names him rico cause hes puerto rican

what do you mean he is puerta rican.. is he actually from there or just your family is..like my dogs I say they are Mexican because they are mine but they are not really from Mexico..lol did that make sense

ohh I like Karma.....Wicca is cool too, but I really like Karma...

it made sense. half of my family is mecican. i went out bar hoping with a good buddy of mine thats pretty much family (also mexican) hes a pretty boy who like to dress up. everytime he gets drunk ill mess with him and call him rickey and tell him to quit trying to be like ricky martin. thats when he starts going off about puerto ricans and how they arnt even hispanic, that there black and just wont admit to it. then he will talk about how lazy they are and yada yada yada. when i first got rico he was so lazy so i named him rico short for puerto rico. is that racist. i dont know i just think its funny.

lol.. no I dont think that it is racist..a little sterotypical..lol but thats all... either way good name..

I like the name Karma! That sounds cute! When I hear Wicca, I think of Wikipedia.... I have no clue why... it just reminds me of that! Lol.

You know whats a cool name for a female pit, Katanna..... I had a red brindle with that name and it suited her awesome!!!

Mikado is an horary title for kings and emperors he is so regal that it fit him.
Chalice Ra El Ra El means everything and Chalice is cup so she is my cup of everything. I also wanted a name that no one would have.

I had a goat named Karma she was so sweet she died 3 yrs ago in march.
For goat names I have Nara, Benoi, Odessa, Lucia, Dymus, Azule, Ruevens, Palace, Arbuttus, Mary Louisse, Jonesy, Malachi, Amada.
