| Seeing as we arent all kennels I think just as owners will sufice for now. This is what I had in mind - Quote :
- VACCINATIONS
DEWORMER ALBONE/ SMZ 480, METALCOPRAMIDE (SP) FLAYGOL (SP) STOP POWDER NAIL CLIPPERS I think every owner should have readily accessible Parting Stick Gauze Pads Tape Wraps, horse wrap works GREAT for keeping things in place

| I don't think just a pet owner needs breaking sticks unless they have three or more pits and then they have to know how to use them to! |

| I think they should have a parting stick if they own just one APBT. What happens if you are walking your dog on a leash and someone elses dog rolls up looking to get busy. As far as using them its as simple as inserting between the teeth and twisting. | |

My female red nose is the same way, during the summer months she drives me insane with her itching! We use flea meds and it doesn;t seem to help that much, one flea will have her itching all summer! Her skin seems to swell at the bite area and in the summer shes has small bumps all over. During the winter she is much better.

| sprinkle a lil garlic on the food or on the coat and it does work. It may give diahrea right off but it will go away. I've never had flea problems but i also treat my yard.
First off most states consider breaking sticks illegal which is why i said pet owners don't need them. You just need to know how to break your pits up and using anything suitable will work. I won't tell folks to get something that may land their butts right in jail! I will encourage all to know how to use them and know how to use anything as a means! |

| http://www.pbrc.net/breaksticks.html Here's an article from pit bull rescue about breaking sticks, there's also a Picture, I haven't read it, so don't shoot me if it says something bad. lol http://www.dunkelkennels.com/stickphoto.html Here is a kennel that makes custom made breaking sticks. Some more info. http://www.nyx.net/~mbur/apbtfaqfaq.html#q8 Brandi try using the capstar first it will kill the fleas that are on the body off, after about an hr give a good bath, doesn't matter what its in, then apply the advantage. Capstar will cost you about 3 bucks a pill but its good for nursing, pregnant, sick, and pups over 2 weeks old. We had a litter that was eat up because they were in the house we were staying at. The pups were a little over a week old, we gave the mom the capstar, gave her a bath in dawn, and applied the advantage to her, and on the back of each pups neck (WITH VET INSTRUCTIONS). I haven't seen a flea on her or those pups since the day I put it on them. I swear by this stuff. we had tried everything to elimate the fleas. | |

It doesn't matter why you own them if your caught owning them and own any dogs consider dog fighting dogs your gonna get hit with paying for it pluse jail time. I do have make shift break sticks but they couldnt' tell me they are break sticks I can argue they aren't cause they really aren't i just use them as such. If you are gonna make some sticks it'd be cool if you make them where they can't really be considered breaking sticks some how lol. Don't ask me how cause if i could do it I would have myself lol plus i'm challenged in the area of art lol. Good luck with it and let me know how they turn out I definately would buy some. |

Chelle be careful with that advantage it's known for throwing dogs into seizures why i switched to frontline and revolution but i more so just use garlic powder cause my yard is treated anyways. There are a bunch of natural repellants if yall want to know i'll give ya some more. You have to be careful with chemicals cause ya never know what your dog is allergic to tell it has a reaction and advantage, frontline, revolution can't be washed off once it enters the blood strem. |

You build a custom one for me and I'll purchase one from you. Not neccessarily to use but definately to keep put up and maybe mount. I'm gonna give some real honesty here, if AC came here and found a tread, penicillin, a breaking stick and stuff where I could take care of my own dog, they wouldn't say a word. They aren't worried about stuff like that here, they are more worried about skin conditions and whether you feed your dogs. I've used advantage on all of my dogs and never had a problem. I can go today myself and use an antibiotic and if I'm allergic it could kill me. Everything has risks, everything is pretty much chemical. Home remedies DO NOT work for our dogs, we've done garlic, the vinegar and water will help but its not a cureall. I'd rather take the risk under supervision than have a house full of fleas, or a yard full of scratching anemic dogs.

| well people should know the risk before doing something. i've never had a reaction either but that doesn't mean it can't happen (with the advantage that is) and it has happened to people i know so that's why i switched and try to use herbal whenever i can.
cut a lemon in four and let it sit over night in a pint of water then put it in a spray bottle this is suppose to repell the fleas. Depending on how bad the fleas are in your area stuff may not work but i've never had a major flea problem and again i treat my yard as well. I suggest you look into treating your yard if you are having a really bad time of it. |
