Pitbull BBQ

OK so I asked one other time on gopitull and got a couple responses, but I think during the holiday season it was kind of forgotten about.... I want to host a Pit bull BBQ here in Virginia this year around April or May, I have already looked into everything, renting the area, buying the trophies, and ribbons, and etc. Unfortunately I don't think that I can come up with all of the funds myself... Here are the amounts that I am looking at

1.) 300.00 Rental for the park... But you guys wont believe the park, its set on about a acre of land, playground for the kids, covered area with about 10 tables for food, volleyball area, and softball area, and a track going all the way around, very dog friendly park.....

2.) Trophies and Ribbons for the Best in show awards I want to give.. My Idea for this is to have the following..

Best Male Adult ..(Large trophy)
2.) Medium Trophy
3.) Small trophy
4.) Ribbon
Best Male puppy...(Large trophy)
2.) Medium Trophy
3.) Small Trophy
4.)Ribbon
Best Female Adult.. (Large trophy)
2.)Medium Trophy
3.)Small trophy
4.)Ribbon
Best Female Puppy...(Large trophy)
2.)Medium Trophy
3.)Small trophy
4.) Ribbon
Best of Show Adult...(large trophy, and Ribbon)
Best of Show Puppy...(Large trophy, and Ribbon)

my order total for these are 532.97

Also a plaque to each person that donates to help with the cost... I am willing to call the BBQ the first annual PITBOSS BBQ and put that on the trophies as well... We should be able to make the money back that anyone donates, because fees will be distributed equally among all that donate.. fees are as follows

anyone donating enters and shows for free...But all others here would be the fees.

$5.00 Per adult
children FREE

Show Fee
$10.00 Per dog

I already have a lot of people I know will love to come to the event.. but like I said I need help with the money...Like you see the trophies are

532.97 and the park is
300.00 plus Food and Drinks and Etc probably another
200.00 at least of not 300.00 so you see I am looking at about 1032.97 or maybe a little more.. I have already chipped in what I can at 300.00 so that brings what we need to raise to a total of 732.97 but to be safe 800.00 ... I know it seems like a lot but we have 49 members that is like 17.00 bucks each..IF everyone chips in just think if the most active members give like 50.00 each that's only 16 of our members and we can do this!!!!

Whew, VA is a haul for us. More than likely there's no way we would make it in April. I hope you guys all enjoy yourself. I'm just not going to carry a month old baby that far....

oh come on chelle... We are on the NC/VA border Tennesse isnt that far....Anyone ever heard of Martinsville Virginia we have races here..maybe that give you a idea of where we are..

lol Brandi, Martinsville, VA is about 9 hrs from us. I have a 5, 2 and then I'll have a month old baby, I'm sure that my recovery won't be that speedy, and traveling with dogs and kids, that ain't gonna work. lol

i would like to come but in may we have the Chaos cook-out here on the first weekend of may so maybe if it was after may i could show

I am in Martinsville Virginia, on the border to NC almost.. and it is up to you guys whenever is the best month for everyone is the best for me... Like i said though without help it may not happen anyway... Lets see lets take a poll...

I would say July.... Just cuz, im in Canada and that is alittle far... Just to see shannon and jenny, i would need at least $3000...

June or July would be good months.....May 4, 5, and 6th is the Chaos Cookout so may is probably not a good time for most people. What kind of help are you needing Brandi? I don't live in your area, but I'm sure I could make banners, and stuff like that for ya, if you get a set date.

as soon as we all agree on a date then i can set one, I need help with alot of stuff... I am lloking for donations to help purchase trophies, ribbons, rent the park and food, I have like 400 now.. We need like 800 more in all... We can all make the money back I am thinking with just fees that are charged to those that do not donate... becasue I will distribute that equally among all that DO donate... wvwn if it is more that what was donated... It explains more in detail in the frst post... But so far July seems cool with 2 people.....So what does everyone think about ............July 7th (Saturday?)....

Well see everyone is always doing stuff through the summer. There is also the Moore's family reunion I believe it is in Aug. though but then also the showing which I'm sure missing a show or two won't kill me lol. Let me know when yall got it setup and everything and I'll do my best to make it there! Guess it could be our family summer vaccation lol.
