| Hey, My neighbour has a Laso apso X, That she has "bred" But the only thing is that he went to the female, mounted and penetrated her, But she yelped and ran off... The dog is ready to be bred, its her 10th day and she is flagging and standing for the male..... So what i want to ask, Do they HAVE to lock for pregnancy to Occure?? Now (GRAFFIC) went the male pulled out, his whole penis was out, like the bulbus and the whole 9 yards, but she didnt know if its possible for her to get pregnant.... If someone can help me?? That would be awesome!!! Thanks!!! | |

| Its possible, but like Burch said, its a slim chance. If the problem is keeping them together, the owner will prob have to hold them together by puting their hands on the underside of the dogs to keep them from moving apart. | |

Or him??? I mean they are small dogs, but she doesnt want to hurt the female, its not her dog..... Hmmmmm... Why would she run away like that tho??? Her name is Nibbles... heheh | |

| No, it won't hurt her. This problem is more common than most people think. Ties can last from 5-30 mins. | |

| What day is she into her heat? This may be where the problem is. If she is holding her tail to the side for him she won't allow him to breed her yet! Watch and see what the signs are. |

| Most dogs aren't like Zoe though, and if we'd have had a breeding stand it would have been alot easier. If she's not flagging him more than likely she's not ready. | |

| Last Saturday? I would say she's ready. I've always gone by 7 days going in- 7 days in- and 7 days going out. They should tie 2-3 times in that 7 day period. | |

| I don't start breeding them till day 10 but at lot do it on day 7. Unless you've gotten a test done at the vet you don't know if they are ready by day 7 even if they will accept the male it could possibly not take but that's the chance we all take in breeding on any day lol. If she is flagging she is ready! |
