How do you pick what females he goes to??? and what are the cost for that.....???

Alot of it will depend on the females breeding, the owners ideas and location. If Rebel does turn out good, for Rebels sake you dont want to just breed him to anything and everything because his offspring reflects on him. Sometimes the offspring can make your dog better than he ever did on his own.

Yep absolutely the truth. You are what you produce and breeding to just anything makes you nothing! Midas will only be studed to select females and that won't be till after I have bred him to my girl. Other females must have as good as or better ped then he has and be Brucelliosis clear.

Now, do you guys just want your dogs bred to champions or just wanna make sure that they have a good pedigree?? I know Pantera has papers, Just not UKC papers, ADBA papers she has...
Like i was just thinking, I cant breed her period, but it would be an awesome thing for her to have Rebs pups... She is a great looking dog and all, i was just curious how you professionals do it... I would even pay for like Artifical Insemination and stuff like that, I live in Canada and i think it would be a pain in the keester!!

Long as it's a decent ped then I won't complain. Honestly if her ped isn't decent but you are actively showing, wp, agility or something I may breed to the bitch depending on her faults. Everybody gotta start somewhere and if you get so selective and forget you had to start somewhere to you tend to kick yourself in the end. So don't think just because she doesn't have a perfect ped you might get refused . heck I aint completely happy with sierra's ped and why I am working on bettering it for her and her offspring!

Hmmmm... Ok i see, so what makes you happy with the ped?? I know my Pantera is %75 Mayfield and %25 clouse... Is that a good p3ed, or do you need to see the dogs and their lines on it?? I have never really paid attention to that so i have no idea how you do it?? And what do you mean by faults?? How do you see them?? Im just curious, sorry about all the questions?? I'll put up a pic and BE HONEST... lol

Don't ever fill bad about asking questions. Personally I love to answer them when I can and if I can't that means your helping me learn something to . I love mayfield myself, not sure about clouse would need to see the ped either way to know exactly which dogs we are talking about. Faults are unexceptable things about them in the registry, for instance merle is a fault, a gay tail is a fault, under or over bite is a fault and albino is a fault to. I really can't tell you alot about your girl cause I can only see her head and her front, would need some stacked pics to tell you more.

Here is what I see in those pics and please don't be angry if your not happy, you got to take the good with the bad! That said: I like her head, hate her ears, she has a nice stop and muzzle, I think she has too much neck (line needs to be thickened up when and if you breed her) and her chest seems to wide for her legs they appear to be set really far apart but it could be the angel of the picture, I'm looking at that last pic. Here is a link that will point out some structure things as well. It breaks down both ukc and adba also akc (i never look at the akc portion).

Hehe, No i wouldnt get angry at all, thats why i asked...
Ok now this is what i thought... I thought that her muzzle was too long, her ears arnt always like that, the one flopped over, they usaually are rose pricked, (i think thats what ya call it) Im guessing you liked the cropped kind... Her legs dont usually sit like that , they are usually closer together, umm, she did have an over bite, and i was so mad!!! But the vet told me that it would correct its self and it did **phew** She has a scissor bite now with no over bite... Her neck is small i think too, i would like to put more muscle mass on her, just not really sure how to do it... well, for around the neck area...She is kinda conditioned, but she is stll only a pup, and just had her first heat in sept, i heard that they beef up after that, but im still waiting!!! lol I can get better pics if ya want like from the side and stuff... Im just getting used to it now, cuz when i show her i will hear it anyway, but i bet you are nicer about it!!! I had one guy tell me that she was disgusting and that she would get nowhere... That sucked.. I just wanna do it for fun to see where she can make it... Thanks so much for the input!!!!
