The link above brought me out of my denial that Legend is and can be dominant with other dogs!...lol
He does all of the these when meeting new dogs. He never did it before I started taking him to Doggie Daycare. I guess you have to get your point across when you have 6-10 dogs sniffing your @$$ and in your face at once when you go into group! lol
Legend when meeting dogs does this: The ears point straight up or forward. The dog has a wide, open stare. The mouth is closed. The dog takes on a very tall posture, possibly with his hackles up. The tail is stiff, puffed and either straight out or held up from the body. The dog may wiggle or prance a bit. The tail is held up and wagging. The dog whines or barks excitedly. The dog may bounce, jump, circle or run back and forth.

I know Legend's body language. BUT just didnt realize he was being so dominant about it. I also know when he's about to turn into "The Hitman".

| Ok, Harley: Signs of Aggression These are signs that all is not well with Fido: The ears are back and close to the head. The eyes are narrowed, with a challenging stare. The lips may be open, or drawn back to expose teeth bared in a snarl. The jaws are snapping. The body seems tense or rigid. The dog takes a dominant stance. The tail is straight out from the body. The dog is snarling, growling or barking.
Pantera Signs of Alertness These canine body language signals indicate that your dog is concentrating: The ears are perked up and the dog may turn to catch sounds. The eyes are wider than usual. The mouth is closed or barely open. The body is in a slightly dominant position or on tiptoes. The tail may be up, perhaps wagging a bit. The dog makes no vocalization, other than a low whine or quick bark.

| But that is only with dogs Not people, This is what they both do when they see people that they know:
Signs of Happiness or Playfulness Take your dog and fetching toy to the park and you'll probably notice these happy behaviors: The ears are perked forward. The eyes are sparkly and merry. The mouth is relaxed and slightly open with teeth covered. Excited panting. The body is relaxed, with the front end lower to the ground than the rear. The dog may bounce, jump, circle or run back and forth. The tail is wagging at top speed. The dog is barking and pretends that he is ferocious.
