Getting ready

For the show tomarrow. I waited until the last day to bathe the dogs and it took FOREVER to bath all 4 of them. I had to bathe Rebel 3 times to get him clean. However they are looking good and ready to go.

Will Update later! Wish us luck, kinda heard some bad news about the judge on Sunday, possibly.

Well I am at work today and WORN OUT! The weekend was a great success!!! I dont have pics to post at this time but I can share the results. I will post pics later.

Ok Saturday

Switch, weighed in at 41lbs at 7months old.
Entered in the novice class with about 17 dogs in it
TOOK 1ST place pulling over 40x his body weight, 1800lbs
It was his first show and cant wait until he is old enough to pull for points.

BAILEY 42lbs
1st place--pulled 4413lbs, 105 times her body weight. Also a new Record for her!!!!!!

REBEL--2nd place, lost to his dad in a very hard fought battle,
PUllED 6613lbs, 118 times his body weight and also a new personal record for himself.

It was a great show on Saturday with over 80 dogs pulling.

SUNDAY--CONFORMATION

SWITCH--- WON IT ALL in the PUPPY division.
--BEST MALE PUPPY 6-9mos
--BEST MALE PUPPY IN SHOW
--BEST PUPPY IN SHOW
this gives him 35 points in his first show.

CALLY-
2nd best female 1-2yrs in a class of 13 and Ive only had her about 2 months.

REBEL----

and then it happened, he was in his class with 16 other dogs, the judge would look at all the dogs and then go around and point out six top dogs and they would get looked over again as the other dogs left the arena. Well he pointed in our direction but the guy next to us went forward IMMEDIATELY so as the other dogs were leaving we left too. APPARENTLY he had pointed at us but we didnt see it and left, they said they tried to find us but couldnt. Later we found out he had him picked for Best Male but since we werent there it went to another dog. That sucked but at least we know Rebel was the man at the show. We will get it next time and it was a mistake we learned from.

All in all we took 5 ribbons, 2first place and 3 Seconds and 3 TROPHIES so it was a good first show for the year!
