Ok, so I'm looking to make my own, and looking for different ideas as to how to build one. So if you've built a springpole for your dogs, I'd love to hear some input.

Thanks

I made Hemi's to hang on a tree limb but you can make one with a fence post anchored about 3ft in the ground with concrete.

Here are pics of Hemi's old one when he was younger. The new is the same, just bigger rope and a stronger spring, and i use pig hide for him to grab....

nice set up. I used a car tire for my red nose she ripped it right down one day she was pissed! She hated sleeping outside and this particular day my husband wouldn't let me bring her in so i had to leave her out and she went nuts on it.

We just go to TSC and get a garage door spring and some rope. Build a place to hang it and let them have fun. We leave ours so that the dogs are not hanging but rather their back feet are on the ground and the front are suspended 5-8 inches. This way they get a better work out!
