| When I took Legend for his second checkup at the vet when he was a baby. The vet asked was keeping his ears. I said yes I'm keeping them and he said good I like his ears too. BUT I have seen some HORRIBLE cropping's gone wrong! Great Dane crops on APBT's to extra extra short crops that the dog has no ear left. Just two holes to hear out of! What is the best crop medium? Is their a degree of how much the bell of the ear should be taken off? | |

What is the best crop medium? Is their a degree of how much the bell of the ear should be taken off? A show crop is the best one to get. Kikie's is a lil shorter then show which Sierra has. I would print out some pics of how I want it and take with to the vet. Which I did and he did Chaka and Kikie's shorter then I actually wanted but he said they had smaller heads. Luna's was done just like Sierra's. |

| Take a look at Rebels head shot on OFK website. That to me is the perfect crop. His vet did a great job on that one! | |

| we only have one dog that has his ears cropped and they are cropped just barrely longer than the fighting crop and they look pretty good to me. but his ears were done when we got him so we had no choice in the decision. all the rest of our dogs have natural ears | |

YEah the natural look gives them character I agree. Gemyni and Legend both have their ears. My next pup I want to show. So if my pup doesnt end up w/ acceptable ears I'll have to get them cropped. | |
