| Well Chalice has always had stomach trouble. She pukes every morning after sleeping all night the vets had no idea why she would do this but latly she has started to lose wieght too she eats fine but she just doesn't maintain her weight. Well thrusday night she started puking a brown bile she did this for almost 2 hrs then she got up in the night and puked some more the vet said that she had a temp put her antibotics and told me to start cooking for her that maybe the fat content was to high for her so I started today. I hope my girl gets better. | |

| I'm no vet but none of that sounds good and I think I would get a second opinion myself. Sounds like she has some sort of parasite or gastrointestinal infection.
I'm curious as to what the vet has you cooking for your dog? Human food has as much fat content as what dog food does honestly.
Just a suggestion try ground beef low fat with regular rice together, about 2 cups a day. Other than that I'm not sure, but I would definately get a second opinon. | |

| She was already seen by another vet who did nothing for her. I trust the vet I took her to. I think that he thought infection of some kind to as to why he put her on meds. I'm boiling chicken and then draining off the fat along with brown rice and cooked carrots and along with yougart. He said I could use any kind of veggie so taday she got string beans too. Then once week she will get chicken liver. I bought all natural food for her. | |

| I am not a vet so my input means nothing. But the ground beef(hamburger meat) and rice could help. Also try a little corn flakes too. It is suppose to help regulate the stomach and bowl movement. Just trying to help. Try switching the water to, maybe your city or county add something you don't know about. They do it all the time ( I used paint the coatings that go in tanks that hold the water before it goes to your home and sometimes the water tastes different for a little bit it is nothing that can hurt you but it can taste different) bottle water for a couple of days. How about fertilizer in your yard or your neighbors? | |

| She hasn't puked for three days. The same number of days that she has been eating the chicken and rice. I have never heard of corn flakes before for a bad stomach but it doesn't hurt to try. We have well water. It is a very deep well. I don't use any chemicals in my yard so I think my water is fine. She is still on meds and will be for 10 more days. | |

| just trying to help. The cornflake thing is something I just heard about. From a old dog man but his dogs reflected his knowledge. I use the cornflakes with my dog. | |

| Thank you for your concern. Yes she is doing a lot better. She did eat the dog food we put out for the goats and she puked then but I have been feeding her cooked chicken, rice, potatoes, carrots, string beans and yougart. She is doing so much better. Taday I added squash to the recipe. I hope to have some picture up in a few days. | |
