Oh you don't have to tell me I've raised quite a few of them. They are a handful to say the least...LOL

they are quite fun to raise. I had a girlfriend who kept a coon in a large purse everday for about 6 months it was the craziest thing ever. the coon ended up getting to big for the purse.

They can be cool pets if you get them young enough..If you do it right and start when they are young you don't even have to keep them caged up.. You don't know what you're missin...LOL

i dunno, if they're anything like my brother's ferret i know EXACTLY what i'm missing lol
a friend that lived down the road from when when i was in middle school had a pet raccoon. he would follow her out to catch the bus every morning.
i once asked if she would let me borrow him to show my red bone coon hound what a coon was but she just gave me a dirty look
i wouldnt have hurt it, but i wanted to train my hound to hunt raccoons but all she would do was chase cats...

They are a lot like a high strung cat but just a little more mischievous..LOL

I do not like the raccoons here!! They live in the atics of some of the houses, and they will jump out and attack you.... I know if they attack my kids, i will have no problem breaking its neck!!
